A single, hand-set page. Your portrait, your voice, and one clear way to get in touch. For artists, freelancers, and anyone who needs one beautifully made page on the internet.
We build one-of-a-kind websites for individuals — artists, models, influencers, boutique owners, tattooists. Hand-made like a 1957 matchbook; fast and clean like the year it’s served in.
Each commission is researched, written, drawn, and coded by two real humans for one real human. No CMS sprawl, no stock grids, no AI copy. Pick your register — we’ll handle the ink.

A multi-page portrait site, designed and set like a magazine. Up to five sections, written and built around one person, one voice.
We run every commission the same way we’d print a magazine — brief, draft, type, press. No dashboards, no daily standups, no “stakeholder alignment.” Just letters and replies.
A one-page tour diary with a live calendar, a discography set in hot-lead metal, and a tip jar. Built from a single interview and 40 Polaroids.
A personal site for a working ceramicist — studio journal, process photography, and a single contact form. Built from one afternoon in her Lisbon studio.
“They asked me what my grandfather’s hat smelled like. Then they put that on the homepage. No one has ever made me a website that was mine.”
All commissions include research, writing help, a hand-set logo mark, one round of corrections, a printed poster of the homepage, and a year of hosting at no charge. Tax included like it’s 1957.

We started One Run Press because the internet used to feel like someone was home. You’d click into a page, and there was a human on the other side, leaving the light on. Somewhere between the template store and the feed, a lot of us lost the light.
We make websites for individuals — not brands, not teams, not “solopreneurs.” One person, one voice, one very good page. We research you the way a 1952 journalist would. Then we lay you out like a magazine you’d keep on the coffee table.
If that sounds like a thing you want, write us a letter. We read all of them.
Yes. Two of us, one commission. When we’re in your brief, we’re not in anyone else’s. That’s why the waiting list is honest.
We can work in most periods — Victorian, Bauhaus, Memphis, early-web. But we’re unapologetically opinionated about layout, type, and pacing. If you want a cookie-cutter SaaS site, we are the wrong people.
Your words (rough is fine), 10–20 photographs, and an hour for an interview. We’ll handle the typography, the code, and the long silences.
You do. Source files, illustrations, typography licenses, domain — yours. We can host it or hand you the keys. Both are common.
Rarely. We take the occasional shop, studio, or small restaurant if the owner is the brand. No corporations, no funding rounds, no “platforms.”
Two seats left this quarter. Tell us who you are, what you make, and what your homepage ought to feel like. We reply to every letter within two working days.
